Privacy policy

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and embeds no third-party trackers. Your visit is neither profiled nor sold on.

No accounts, no database: the site is made of static files.

Fonts are served from our own servers. While you browse, not a single request is made to a third-party service.

Language preference

The site keeps the language you choose in your browser’s local storage, so that it appears in the same language on your next visit.

This information never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and disappears when you clear your browsing data.

Nothing is kept unless you accepted it. Your answer to that question is stored in the same place: without it, a refusal would be forgotten on the next page and the question would come back endlessly. It is the only information written without prior agreement, and you can change your choice at any time at the bottom of this page.

Contact form

The form sends nothing to our servers. On submission it opens your own mail client with a pre-filled message that you choose — or choose not — to send. Until you send it, we receive nothing.

If you do write to us, we process the information contained in your message (name, email address, company, project description) solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to manage the business relationship that follows.

Technical logs at the host

Like any website, our host’s server records connection logs: IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type. These serve security and technical operation only, and are retained by the host for a limited period.

Retention

Email exchanges are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then for the period required by applicable Swiss retention obligations.

Sharing with third parties

Your data is neither sold, rented nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes. It is disclosed only to the providers strictly necessary to operate the service — currently our host and our mail provider, both located in Switzerland — or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP), you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@web-zone.ch. We reply as promptly as we can.

Changes

This policy may be adapted as the site or the legal framework evolves. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
